Safety first!
Our quarterly safety meeting was extremely proactive as part of our continuous improvement to ensure the safety of our employees.
Crews across all disciplines from all our worksites attended the forum held in our head office facility in Gladstone.
With focus on the challenges we face placing employees in the Coal Exploration and Production sector, our drill crews highlighted more emphasis on our onboarding process was required, particularly for new employees to the industry.
Based on the requirement for training new employees, CQE has sanctioned the design and build of a state of the art training facility at our Gladstone headquarters.
The new facility will provide invaluable experience for new and existing employees utilising a fully operational top drive rig over a predrilled cased hole with gas injection capability.
Our Director Don Irvine believes
